Kanye West's 'Yeezus' Earns Gold Certification

Kanye West's sixth studio album has been certified Gold by the RIAA for shifting in excess of 500,000 copies.

The album dropped on June 18th, the same day as J. Cole's "Born Sinner." Although 'Ye outsold Cole in the first week, the North Carolina emcee overtook him in the next few weeks in sales.
