Wiz Khalifa Convinces Playmate Lover Not to Sell Their Sex Tape

Image
On Monday (12/15), VladTV reported that Vivid Entertainment was interested in buying and distributing Wiz Khalifa and playmate Carla Howe's sex tape, and even offered Howe a  whopping six figures to do so . While Wiz was reportedly never on board with the idea, according to TMZ, he's finally convinced Howe to let the dream go as well, as the two came to an agreement not to sell the tape. Sources revealed to TMZ that Howe and Vivid had a meeting set up to discuss possibly doing business together, but Howe chose not to show up after talking to Wiz about the pros and cons for both of them if said tape was to hit the streets. FCC to fine Sprint $105 million for phone bill cramming

Image
Sprint is facing a fine from the FCC that could run as high as $105 million. The agency is accusing the carrier of cramming, a practice where unauthorized charges are added to a customer's monthly bill. FCC commissioners are expected to soon vote on the fine. Back in October, the FCC demanded a similar amount from AT&T, claiming that the carrier had crammed customers' invoices with unauthorized charges. In July,  the FTC filed cramming charges against T-Mobile  in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. According to FCC commissioner Tom Wheeler, 20 million Americans a year are victims of cramming. In November, all four major U.S.mobile operators agreed not to charge customers for third party services. AT&T's settlement with the FCC back in October  called for the mobile operator to return $80 million to customers affected by the cramming , in the form of refunds. $20 million will be paid to the states and the District of Columbia, while a $5

Jay Z & Beyonce Facing Hefty Lawsuit Over "Drunk In Love"

Image
One of Beyonce's most successful singles off of her self-titled album, "Drunk in Love," has put her, Jay Z, and producer Timbaland in the middle of a lawsuit from Hungarian singer Monika Miczura, aka Mitsou. According to Mitsou, the trio took her 1995 Roma folk song, "Bajba, Bajba Pelem," and used it during various parts of the platinum-selling track.  Mitsou explained that her song is about hopelessness, and Beyonce managed to "evoke foreign eroticism alongside the sexually intense lyrics."   She alleges that neither Bey, Jay, nor Timbo contacted her and obtained permission to use her vocals on the song, which have been modified with the use of Auto-Tune and various editing.  Mitsou hopes to get any version of the song with her vocals banned from being played ever again, and is also seeking unspecified compensation for the illegal use of her work on Beyonce's song.  Given the fact that "Drunk in Love" was such a huge financial success, y

Image
Porn industry veteran Lisa Ann is about to break more than a few hearts, as the MILF star has just announced her retirement via Facebook, saying she no longer plans to shoot adult scenes. She does say in her personal letter to fans that she will still be making occasional club and event appearances, as she knows her followers won't be able to cut her off "cold turkey." Bill Cosby’s Wife Speaks Up!

Image
It seems every time the news is on a new woman comes out to say she was sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby. Now the most important woman is finally speaking up, his wife Camille. In a statement released by Mrs.Cosby she states ” I met my husband, Bill Cosby, in 1963 and we were married in 1964. The man I met and fell in love with, and whom I continue to love, is the man you all knew through his work. He is a kind man, a generous man, a funny man, and a wonderful husband, father and friend. He is the man you thought you knew.” Talk about standing by your man. Camille went further in her statement talking about the Rolling Stone article that featured a girl from UVA (University of Virginia) who claimed rape. Elaborating that the media has taken advantage of her husbands fragile state and must give time for the facts to be laid out on the table. As the days go by and woman after woman comes out its hard to follow the facts. True Bill Cosby fans will have to wait and continue to support the

Kobe Bryant Admits He Almost Quit Basketball But Didn’t Because of Michael Jordan

Image
Shay Marie The Black Mamba reflected on passing his muse this past Sunday night and stated that at 12-years-old, he was seriously considering giving up basketball as he didn’t score a single point in Philadelphia’s Sonny Hill Future League. “I considered maybe just giving up basketball and just focusing on soccer,”  Bryant stated . “Here’s where my respect and admiration for MJ was forged. I learned that he had been cut from his high school team as a freshman; I learned he knew what it felt like to be embarrassed, to feel like a failure”, said Bryant. “But he used those emotions to fuel him, make him stronger, he didn’t quit. So I decided to take on my challenge the same way he did. I would channel my failure as fuel to keep my competitive fire burning. I became obsessed with proving to my family — and more importantly to myself — that  I CAN DO THIS.” To think, two of the greatest players to ever play the sport perhaps never would have even made the NBA had they not followed through a

Netflix for Android now lets you control movies from your wrist

Image
Netflix has taken its sweet time bringing its Android app up-to-date, but at least it's bearing  extra nice gifts  for you and your inner circle. You can now privately endorse shows to Facebook friends without clogging their news feeds -- a feature that's already been available on the web and iOS for  several months . Netflix did throw in a couple of exclusive Android extras, though: you'll be able to use your smartphone to thank a friend for a recommendation, see images and show info, and even pause or play movies. But, the best part for nerdy film-lovers: you can now use an Android Wear smartwatch  to take the same actions, including remotely controlling shows (as shown above). Being the last to get an update sucks, but I'll gladly trade that for the double-takes when I launch House of Cards from my watch,  Dick Tracy-style .

Image
Ochocinco showed love to a waitress during a recent trip out to eat, and tipped her nearly 100% on the tab. The former NFL star ran up a $325 tab at a bar, and tipped the waitress a fat $300 tip.  The former Bengals wide receiver even wrote an extra note to the server, telling her that he hopes his heft tip helps her out on the slow Sunday shift.  Source: Instagram

Kim Taught Her: Kardashian Bestie Malika Poses Nude on Instagram

Image
While the Kardashian Klan is known to show a little skin, it seems their penchant for nudity has rubbed off on actress and longtime Kardashian bestie Malika Haqq, who took to Instagram this weekend and posted a sexy nude selfie for her fam on the 'Gram. The photo shows Malika's bare backside, along with the caption, "I meant to behave but there were too many options." In addition to hanging with the Kardashians, Malika and her twin sister Khadijah are well known actresses in their own right, with their most memorable roles being the twin best friends of Lauren London's character NuNu in "ATL." Wiz Khalifa's Playmate Offered Six Figures for Their Sex Tape

Image
While Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have been separated for a while now, it's certain that dropping a sex tape with another woman so soon wouldn't be the greatest move. If his rebound lover/Playboy playmate Carla Howe has her way, however, she could be six figures richer thanks to Khalifa's bedroom prowess. According to TMZ, Vivid Entertainment's Steve Hirsch has offered Howe quite the pretty penny for her sex tape with the "Black & Yellow" rapper, and she's reportedly willing to sell. The only problem is that all parties participating in a sex tape need to give Vivid permission to distribute, and Wiz reportedly isn't interested in having his skills made public for all to see. Kobe tops Jordan on NBA scoring list

Image
MINNEAPOLIS --  Kobe Bryant  surpassed  Michael Jordan  on the NBA's all-time scoring list Sunday and moved into third place behind  Kareem Abdul-Jabbar  and  Karl Malone . The  Los Angeles Lakers  star, now in his 19th season, passed the  Chicago Bulls  legend (32,292 points) and the player to whom he has long been compared with a free throw in the second quarter against the  Minnesota Timberwolves  at the Target Center. Bryant, 36, entered the game eight points shy of Jordan's mark. He now trails only Abdul-Jabbar (38,387) and Malone (36,928) in career NBA points. For Bryant, the milestone is no small feat, as he forged his Hall of Fame career in Jordan's shadow, with every achievement measured against his idol, almost since the day Bryant entered the league in 1996 at the age of 18. Phil Jackson coached both players in the NBA. he won six titles with Jordan's Bulls and five with Bryant's Lakers, and he wrote in his book "Eleven Rings" that Bryant was &q

BIRDMAN Lil Wayne Will Fly the Coop OVER MY DEAD BODY

Image
Birdman is NOT letting Lil Wayne out of his recording contract, no matter how much he bitches. Sources close to Birdman tell us ... he's deeply offended by Weezy's public rants ... claiming Birdman has tried to derail his career by refusing to release his new album. Weezy didn't mince words, tweeting, "I want off this label and nothing to do with these people." Birdman is unmoved and vows to duke it out in court if necessary, because a contract is a contract.   As for the delay in dropping the album, we're told Birdman says there's lots of administrative work that goes into releasing a record, and Weezy is just a rapper, not a businessman, so what does he know? Birdman still intends to release the album, but on his time, not Weezy's. Wayne has thrown down the gauntlet, calling himself a prisoner of the Cash Money music mogul. TMZ

How to find out the IMEI number of your Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone

Image
The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) can be a life-saver in certain instances - after all, it is a unique identity number that every phone has, and you could use it in a situation like when you retrieve your lost phone and you need to prove its yours.  Not just that, though: cellular networks use the IMEI number to identify devices and you can use it to block access of a device to a network. So how do you find out the exact IMEI number of your iPhone, Android, or Windows Phone handset? It’s in fact very easy to do with the IMEI USSD code. This is a kind of code that you type directly in the phone dialer. This same code will actually work on feature phones, earlier Symbian devices, and many more. Just type it in and you’ll get the IMEI number as a result: IMEI USSD code: *#06# Phonearena

Soon you will be controlling your Nest thermostat with Google Now

Image
It appears that Google is close to allowing Android and iOS users to control the temperature on their Nest thermostat by using Google Now.  Google acquired Nest in January , and hopes to allow homeowners to use their smartphones to raise or lower the temperature in their homes. By using Google Now, a verbal command can be said such as, " Raise the thermostat to 72 degrees ." Asking Google Now today to " set Nest to 72 degrees " will result in a card that says that the the request failed because no thermostat was found. The card also notes that such a command "Works with Nest." And this is where there is a missing link, so to speak, one that will allow you to authorize your Nest thermostat to follow directions from your phone. Right now, if you click on the "Works with Nest" link and follow it up with a click on "Yes I'm in," you are sent to a page that is not yet live. Considering how far mobile technology has come in the last few y

Did you know: these smartphones don't have a camera, and for a good reason

Image
One day, our grandkids will look back at the phones people used in the 20th century and wonder what kind of phones those were if they didn't have a camera. Or at least that's a safe prediction we can make now that cameras are one of a phone's key features. Even dirt-cheap, no-name handsets, the kind of which are sold by the pound by Chinese OEMs, have cameras, albeit very basic ones.  Yet did you know that there is a small number of smartphone models designed without cameras? These are devices built for a niche of buyers who can't bring a camera to their workplace, but still want to have access to their email, social networks and IM clients.  One of the few companies with non-camera smartphones in their lineup is iNO. The iNO Scout 2 – one of its recent models – is a ruggedized Android-based smartphone with a 4-inch screen, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There's also the slimmer, lighter iNO 2, which offers a 4.3-inch AMOLED display, a 1

iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S5 discounted at Walmart for the holidays

Image
If you’re in the US and you want to buy a new iPhone, or a Samsung Galaxy S5 (which, of course, isn’t that new  anymore), you should check out Walmart’s deals for this holiday season. According to Bloomberg, Walmart is selling the iPhone 6  16 GB for as low as $129 on contract (on Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint), while an  iPhone 6 Plus  16 GB can be had for as low as $229. The  iPhone 5S  has been discounted, too, and you can grab one for $49 on contract.  As for the  Samsung Galaxy S5 , this can be purchased for as low as $79 (with a contract from Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint). It looks like the S5 is the only important Android handset to be part of Walmart's promo offering. Bloomberg has it that all these deals are available only in stores, so you won’t find them online. But it’s probably worth taking a trip to your local Walmart store if you’re planning to buy a brand new smartphone this month, isn't it?

Jeremih has found himself in trouble with the law again at the hands of his entourage. According to Rolling Stone, the "Don't Tell 'Em" singer and another member of his entourage were arrested and charged for disorderly conduct for allegedly sneaking onto a plane after a final boarding call was made for the flight in New Jersey. The singer was scheduled to perform in California at B95's Fresno Holiday Jam with Wiz Khalifa, T-Pain and more. Conflicting reports claim that the singer snuck on the plane with some of his friends after the final boarding call and tried to open up the plane's door to allow the other late members on. Another report states Jeremih was late and his bouncer, Dontate Cunningham, opened the plane's rear door. Cunningham was charged with defiant trespass. Jeremih and another member of his entourage, Adam Woods were also charged with obstruction of the administration of law. Jeremih previously faced the police after he caused  $700 worth

Former Apple engineer testifies that the iPod was originally designed to block all non iTunes clients

Image
The federal antitrust suit against  Apple , that featured a video deposition from the late Steve Jobs , is still underway in the U.S. District Court in Oakland, California. The plaintiffs are seeking $350 million from Apple, for not allowing certain early versions of the  Apple  iPod  to work with other music clients besides  iTunes . The plaintiffs claim that by allowing only iTunes to connect with these  iPod  models , it caused the  device  to artificially rise in price from 2006 through 2009. On Friday, former iTunes engineer Rod Schultz took the stand. Subpoenaed by the plaintiffs, Schultz classified himself as an unwilling witness, not wanting to talk about his work on iTunes from 2006-2007. On the stand, Schultz admitted that he worked on a project designed to block non-iTunes clients from being used on the  iPod . He also worked on keeping third-party devices, competitors to the iPod, away from iTunes. Apple claims that it needed to lock down the iPod to protect the device and

Coming to America: Vodafone to hit the states as T-Mobile MVNO next year

Image
Mobile operator Vodafone will be coming to America as a T-Mobile MVNO, starting in the late fall of 2015. The wireless service will be focused on enterprise customers in the U.S. Earlier this year,  Vodafone sold its 45% stake in Verizon Wireless back to Verizon  for the tidy sum of $130 billion. That deal effectively removed Vodafone from the U.S. market, with the exclusion of 400 multinational accounts in the U.S. that Vodafone still continues to service. It also takes care of the wireless service for 500 multinational accounts located outside of the U.S. that have a "strong U.S. presence." It would be quite ironic for Vodafone to be working with T-Mobile, since the two were competitors when Vodafone owned its stake in Verizon. Overseas, Vodafone and T-Mobile parent Deutsche Telekom are rivals. William Ho, an analyst for 556 Ventures, says that the deal will help both T-Mobile and Vodafone. He says that adding the MVNO will put more enterprise customers on T-Mobile's pi

T-Mobile's Nexus 9 comes with LTE and a $600 price tag (update: AT&T

Image
The Nexus 9 didn't  completely   knock our socks off , but HTC's inaugural Lollipop tablet just got a little better... if you're willing to pay a premium, anyway. T-Mobile's now selling an LTE-enabled version of the tablet on its enthusiast-only Underground  store for $600, or $25 a month for the next two years if smaller, drawn-out payments are more your speed. Other than its compatibility with T-Mobile's LTE network, this version of the tablet is identical to the $479, 32GB WiFi model we reviewed last month, but we're still curious what those faster data speeds mean for this little guy's battery life. Nothing good, we'd wager. And if you're not the biggest fan of T-Mobile's posturing? Fair enough: It shouldn't take too  long for an unlocked model to pop up in the Google Play Store, though the tab will make an appearance there before the holidays is anyone's guess. Update : Not ready to go magenta? AT&T writes in to note that this sl

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em: Chicago and New York to develop their own Uber-like app for cabs

Image
The city of Chicago has decided that if it can't beat Uber, it might as well join it. The government in the Windy City has decided to make some positive changes for cab drivers  in the city, including the development of a universal mobile  app  to be used to dispatch cabs. The city noted that apps like Uber only control a few hundred cabs out of a city-wide fleet of 7000. The City wants the entire fleet to be available via its new app. In New York City, City Council member Benjamin Kallos brought up the idea of developing an app that would allow users to "e-hail" a cab among the 20,000 that operate in the Big  Apple . Regulators in New York have yet to vote on the idea. Chicago is ahead of New York City, with regulators expected to seek out third-party  developers  interested in producing the app or apps that the city has in mind. Uber and other apps of the same ilk, allow users to tell drivers the exact location where to pick them up. The apps offer different cars at dif
