Beyonce has surpassed legends like Michael Jackson, Prince and Janet Jackson for the title of the highest-paid black artist of all time. According to MTV UK, her surprise album and Mrs. Carter world tour helped gained her the title. The tour grossed over $212 million over the past year, with the star earning $41.1 million from her European leg of the tour. Forbes reported that the star made over $87 million from touring in 2009 and 2010. In an interview with Forbes Beyonce says that she loves being a hard worker. "I'm never satisfied,"she said "I'm sure sometimes it's not easy working for me ... I've never met anyone that works harder than me in my industry." The NBA was on the verge of a huge boycott if Donald Sterling wasn't given a proper punishment after his racial comments. According to the Huffington Post, the player's union Vice President Roger Mason says that every player involved the playoffs were prepared to boycott the upcoming postseason games in support of the Clippers. Mason also mentioned that they wanted to support their fellow players Blake Griffin and Chris Paul through the scandal. "We didn't want to jump to conclusions, but we were prepared that if this decision came down, we were prepared to move forward that way," Mason said. "We didn't think that this was just a Clippers issue, so we didn't want to put the pressure on Chris Paul and Blake Griffin and that team. We wanted to band behind our brothers to do the right thing." As it turns out,  Sterling was given the highest fine possible , $2.5 million dollars and banned for life from any NBA practices or games involving the Clipper

After the NBA's ban on Donald Sterling, many celebs have come forward to buy the LA Clippers. According to Business Insider, interest was sparked of a possible purchase after Adam Silver said during the NBA press conference that he would try his best to get Sterling to sell the team. Donald Sterling has shown no interest in selling the team, but that hasn't stopped many stars from making an offer. Hip hop mogul and Revolt honcho Diddy made it aware on Twitter he wants in. "I will always be a Knicks fan, but I am a business man. #DiddyBuyTheClippers #NameYourPrice" he tweeted. Diddy recently lost a bid to Jennifer Lopez for Fuse TV. The mogul's $200 million offer was outbid by Jennifer Lopez for $226 million. Others who have shown interest were Floyd Mayweather and actor Frankie Muniz. During a press conference about his upcoming match with Marcos Maidana this weekend, the athlete suggested that a group of fellow billionaires should get together to bid on the team.

A rep for Naya Rivera has shot down reports that the star was fired from the hit show Glee.  According to the Hollywood Reporter, a representative for Rivera spoke about the recent rumors circulating against her and her co-star Lea Michele. A rep for Rivera says, " Any reports or rumors circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from Glee are absolutely untrue. End of story." Rumors began last month after an alleged physical altercation between the two actress. Other rumors dug deeper as many speculate that Michele was the woman Big Sean had relations with, causing the rapper to break off his engagement to Rivera. Michele was in a relationship with the late Cory Montieth before he died from an drug overdose in July 2013. Sources say that the rumors of Naya's department also stem from her hiatus from the show. Following stunning revelations that Los Angeles Clippers owner  Donald Sterling made racially charged comments  which were brought to light by TMZ and Deadspin, it looks like Magic Johnson is now "absolutely interested" in purchasing the Clippers and replacing Sterling.  According to CBS Local, Magic has shown great interest in buying the Clippers, along with Mark Walter and the Guggenheim Partners, to bring new order to the organization and wipe away the nasty stain that's been smeared on them due to what Mr. Sterling stated about members of the black community, including Magic Johnson specifically. Lil Boosie sat down with Complex, where he opened up about the current state of rap that he's been hearing since being released from prison. Describing it as "weak," the Louisiana rapper explains that the message in new music doesn't compare to the deep message that he carries in his music.  Speaking about Southern rap, Boosie says that when people hear music from the region they may think that people are balling out of control, but he says more people are struggling than balling. He adds that he aims to shed light on the struggling masses in his new music. 

Years have passed since Lil Wayne and Mannie Fresh worked on the original Carter album. Now the two are raising eyebrows and spirits about The Carter V. The two along with singer/songwriter Charles Pettaway were spotted at the studio last night in Atlanta, Ga. Pettaway, who has worked with Fresh in the past posted the pic above to Twitter. A Clemmons, North Carolina woman lost her life after posting on Facebook about Pharrell's hit single "Happy." According to FOX8, Courtney Ann Sanford was posting selfies Thursday morning while driving down the interstate when she crossed the median and crashed head first into a truck. Friends later discovered that the 32-year-old posted a Facebook status just seconds before she died about the song "Happy." At 8:33 a.m. Sandford posted "The happy song makes me HAPPY!" Friends and family were notified of the crash at 8:34 a.m. Sanford was wearing a seatbelt, but it wasn't used properly police told reporters. Lt. Chris Weisner of the High Point Police Department hopes that people will learn to refrain from their phones when driving. "As sad as it is, it is a grim reminder for everyone," he said. The Gladiators just lost one. According The Hollywood Reporter, 'Scandal' actor Columbus Short announced that he will not be returning for a fourth season due to his personal legal issues of domestic abuse with his wife. The two are in the middle of a divorce with Tanee Short accusing Short of putting a knife to her throat threatening to kill her and child abuse claims. "At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I've called home for three years, with what is the most talented ensemble on television today." the statment reads. "I would like to first thank Shonda Rhimes for the opportunity to work with such an amazing cast," he said in a statement. The life of Tupac Shakur was a complicated one that fans have been waiting to see hit the big screen for years. Well, according to an exclusive interview with AllHipHop.com, film exec and friend of 'Pac L.T Hutton says the Tupac biopic should hit theatres next year. While they're still perfecting the cast, much of the heavy lifting has already been done. The story will be directed by John Singleton, which is fitting as he directed Tupac himself in Poetic Justice and intended to have 'Pac star in Baby Boy before he passed. The movie is being produced by Morgan Creek Productions and Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films in association with Open Road Films and Program Pictures. As Program Picture's CEO, Hutton was a big part of putting it all together and also spent time with 'Pac while working at Death Row in the '90s. If you used a Samsung app recently it was possibly a mis-click, according to a Strategy Analytics  survey of 250-plus Galaxy S3 and S4 users. While Samsung recently  trumpeted  100 million users for ChatOn, for instance, the report said US users spent a mere six seconds per month on the app, compared to, say, 151 minutes on Instagram. The rest of the suite fared little better, with users spending no more than seven minutes per month on all its apps combined. By contrast, users stayed on Facebook for 11 hours and Google's three most popular apps for 150 minutes on average. If accurate, that would be a stinging rebuke, given that Samsung's apps are pre-installed on most of its devices and can't be removed  easily  -- unless, ironically, you're in its  home country . In the seven years since Google launched Maps, it's collected a ton of imaging and location data, which we've only been able to see in its most recent form. That's about to change, however, after the company announced  it's opening all of that information up, allowing you to go back and see how much each of its locations have adapted during that period. Starting today, Google says it will begin rolling out the new future across its desktop Maps service, adding a new clock icon to Street View images. Once clicked, you can move a slider and select the different thumbnails of a location in a particular space in time. You'll see skyscrapers go up, houses come down, or maybe even witness the rebuilding efforts of a community affected by a natural disaster. There's no word on whether it'll make its way beyond the desktop, so for now you'll likely only be able to procrastinate from the comfort of your home computer or office. Engadget

If you're with Sprint, you don't have many options for unlocking your phone's SIM card slot; if you can do it at all, you're limited to service on foreign networks. You'll have far more flexibility in the near future, though. The carrier has  revealed that it will unlock devices for American use starting with those launched on or after February 11th, 2015. The move will let you use SIM-based features (such as LTE data) on AT&T, T-Mobile and other US providers as long as your device supports the right frequencies. Sprint's prepaid brands, including Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, will also offer the added freedom. The move isn't a complete surprise when Sprint had committed to unlocking phones as part of the  CTIA's Consumer Code . Still, this is a big step toward having real choices among US carriers. If you're unhappy with Sprint's service next year, there's a real chance that you'll get to jump ship without having to ditch your hand

Gun violence continues in Chicago with eight victims ranging from 14 to 56 years old shot in less than seven hours. According to the Chicago Sun Times, the shootings weren't connected, although some were gang related. Between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., five people were shot including a 24-year-old who was sitting on his porch. Around 6:40 p.m., a 14-year-old was also standing on his porch when shots rang close to his house. All victims are said to be in good condition after the incidents. Federal statutes stepped in over Easter weekend when nine people were killed and 36 were injured in the city nicknamed "Chiraq." Crime has gone down since 2012, from 516 to 412 in 2013. Police have urged Illinois lawmakers to create stricter gun laws. Instead, the state has sent out permits for residents to carry firearms. Source:  suntimes.com

Lil Boosie is continues his 2014 takeover with the release of two albums. In an interview with XXL the rapper announced his new album will be available July 15 and later included that he plans to drop another album in December. "Right now I think I am gonna drop two albums this year. Drop one July 15 and I am gonna try to drop in December also," he said. "So right now, it is a Boosie takeover. I'm tryna soak my raw oats. That's basically the idea. I am just trying to go in and go hard. You know, I slept too many days." With over 1,000 songs written in jail, a lot of material is expected from the rapper. Freddie Gibbs' beef with Young Jeezy seems to be spilling over into CTE-signed group Doughboyz Cashout, after rapper HBK called the Indiana rapper a "bum" on Twitter. A follower asked the Detroit rapper about Gibbs' recent shots at the CTE crew after he typed, "Deez niggaz ain't on my level to rap beef wit me." HBK responded to the question by saying, "He a bum to [sic]." The twisted mind of 27-year-old Demetrio Campbell drove him into full-out predator mode as he kicked in a door and allegedly raped a 4-year-old girl last week.  The little girl and her sister were playing outside of a Calumet Park home in Cook County, Illinois, where Campbell tried to lure both the 4-year-old and her older sister away from the house they were in front of.   However they refused and instead ran inside the home and locked the door, but their attempts to keep Mr. Campbell away from them was futile as he chased after them and kicked the door in and attacked them.  There were two people inside of the home when Campbell burst in, and he ordered one of them to leave.  The person who left phoned the police, however they were too late to save the little girl, for he allegedly raped her inside of a bedroom. Police found Campbell was smoking a cigarette inside of a closet when they arrived at the home.  His grandfather, Charles Campbell, reported that his grandson has a history o

Mike Epps is being accused of punching a young woman in the face during an after party for the 'A Haunted House 2' film Wednesday night. According to TMZ, popular Vine comedian Simone Shepherd has been labeled a groupie of the comedian but that doesn't seem to the case. Shepherd's representative claims that she didn't investigate the fight, but did get into an argument with Epps' wife. Sources also claim the that the comedian kept the two women away from each other before hitting her in the face. Shepard's rep also stated that she used to ghost write for Epps and has proof that she was hit with a selfie she took of her bruises a little after the argument. Police claim when they went to investigate the fight they found no bruises on Shepard or Epps. Shepard claims that hours later her brusies started to swell and show on her face.  Source:  tmz.com

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's Mimi Faust's sexcapdes have given Vivid Entertainment record breaking sales-and it hasn't been released yet. According to TMZ, Steve Hirsch of Vivid Entertainment tells the site that pre-sale orders for Mimi and Nikko's sextape are through the roof with pre-sales at $400,000 and counting. A picture surfaced on Twitter late Wednesday night that appeared to be a freaky flick of Iggy Azalea and her Lakers baller boo Nick Young.  The photo is certainly steamy, and features a Nick Young lookalike kneeling down and kissing the lower-torso section of a naked blonde squeezing her plump cheeks for the camera. By first glance alone, the young couple in the photo definitely look like they could be Nick and Iggy; however, it is definitely not them. Lamar Odom may have a home with the Knicks by next week. According to a report by ESPN, president Phil Jackson is interested in signing the 35-year-old to the Knicks before the season ends. The news has come as a surprise to fans due to Lamar's shaky history. The player has a past with Jackson from his time with the Lakers. Over the past few years, Odom has also played with the Clippers and Mavericks. He recently left his forward position with Spanish basketball team Baskonia after an injury. The team is also considering Odom as a regular for the team if he plays well in the season. Prior to his signing with Baskonia, the Lakers and Clippers considered signing the player, but his rumored drug use and divorce to Khloe Kardashian were allegedly in the way. WWE champion James Brian Hellwig, or known to fans as The Ultimate Warrior died Wednesday (April 9) at the age of 54. Warrior launched his career with the WWE in 1987 and went on to become one of the most recognized figures in wrestling. He was also known for his epic battle against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI. The famed wrestler was recently placed in the WWE Hall of Fame and made an appearance during Monday Night Raw to address his fans. Triple H tweeted the news first and sent condolences to his family. "Saddened to announce the passing of the Ultimate Warrior. Icon and friend. My sympathy to his wife Dana and his daughters." The WWE also released a statement on their website.

Verizon often takes its sweet time getting the latest phones, and Samsung's new alpha dog, the  Galaxy S5 , is no exception --  AT&T ,  T-Mobile  and  Sprint  all nabbed it first. While it's now on pre-order at $200 for a two year deal or $600  sans  contract, you can get a second GS5 (or other select models) for "free." The only catch is that you'll need to sign up for another two-year plan, so the phone is essentially half-price with two contracts.
