Darren Wilson Not Likely to Be Charged for Killing Mike Brown

The case deciding whether or not to charge Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson for shooting and killing the unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown back in August has just gotten even more complicated after a tweet was sent out that could compromise the case and delay it for months.  A tweet was recently posted online which used suggestive language insinuating that one of the members of the grand jury leaked private information to outside parties, which is intolerable and would force the prosecutors to scrap the entire jury and reselect new candidates for the positions.

The evidence has been reviewed thoroughly by the jury since August 20th, and this breach in confidentiality would mean that a brand new jury would have to start their own review of the case from scratch, even though this group of individuals was expected to be done by mid-November.  The tweet that could potentially compromise the current case has since been deleted.  Luckily, a screen shot was taken of it before it was taken down, and according to the claims from the individual responsible for posting it, officer Darren Wilson most likely will not be charged with a crime.  However, if the jury is in fact dismissed and a whole new set of people step in to replace them, it remains to be seen if they will come up with the same verdict.

It's safe to say that if Officer Wilson gets let off without facing any legal action or at the very least, a chance to defend his position in court, then there will be a lot of angry Americans in an uproar.  See the tweet in question above.

The since-deleted tweet in question (seen below in a screen shot posted by a different Twitter user) is from a user who claims to have a friend on the jury who says there isn't enough evidence to charge Wilson.
