War Machine Laughs in Court While Christy Mack Recounts Attack

Jonathan Paul Koppenhaver, also known as War Machine, showed no remorse as he laughed at Christy Mack during a preliminary hearing in Las Vegas on Friday.

According to the Daily Mail, Mack testified against her attacker Koppenhaver, following the August incident where the former MMA fighter beat up the famed porn star and her friend after believing the two were dating. War Machine then punched Mack several times leaving her with broken bones, missing teeth, a fractured rib and a ruptured kidney. Mack posted her injuries on Twitter, magnifying the case which led to War Machine's disturbing "O.J." tweets and even reality star Dog The Bounty Hunter attempting to track down the fighter.

Mack relieved the entire ordeal on Friday as she described the attack and bursted into tears during the testimony. When a prosecutor asked Mack if there was sexual violence in the attack, Mack confirmed while War Machine laughed and shook his head. After the prosecutor asked to make a note of the fighter's actions, the judge confirmed and said, "I watched him laugh."

She also recounted the moment she woke up in the shower after the attack. Mack described how in the moment, she tasted blood on her lip as she felt a hard kick to her stomach by Koppenhaver.

"I couldn't breathe," she said. "I don't remember getting out of the shower. I just remember being on the floor. Naked on the floor. Cold."

Following Mack's chilling testimony, the judge added two felony charges including another rape charge. The fighter is facing 34 felony charges including sexual assault, kidnapping, and many more that can land him life in prison. The fighter says he plans to plead "not guilty" at his arraignment next week. He's also sticking to his claims that Mack is looking to gain fortune and fame following the horrific attack.

With the help of friends, War Machine has documented his time in jail via Twitter, sending fans letters of appreciation and thanking them for their support. Recently the fighter talked about missing out on the holidays with his family.
