Microsoft Lumia 640 XL launches on AT&T on June 26

AT&T today announced that it will soon start selling the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL, the larger brother of the Lumia 640 (which can be bought from T-Mobile and Cricket).

The Lumia 640 XL will be available in AT&T stores and online starting June 26, in two color versions: matte black, and matte white. The handset will cost $250 off contract, but you'll also be able to get it for $0 down on various AT&T Next plans (with monthly payments from $8.34 to $12.50, depending on what Next plan you're choosing).

Sporting a 5.7-inch 720p display, the Lumia 640 XL is one of the largest Windows Phone handsets out there. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, and features a 13 MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss lens, plus a 5 MP front-facing camera. It's also got 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of expandable internal memory, and a 3000 mAh battery. The handset runs Windows Phone 8.1, and will be updated to Windows 10 later this year. You can take a closer look at the new device by checking out our Lumia 640 XL hands-on, or by watching AT&T's promo video that's embedded below.

It's said that AT&T will also launch the Microsoft Lumia 640, but the carrier has yet to confirm this.
