There's now a vending machine that dispenses hot french fries

Image
In a world where you can buy shoes and cupcakes via vending machine, why not french fries? Entrepreneurs and students at Wageningen University in the Netherlands have invented a vending machine that serves up fresh batches of french fries and condiments, reports Eater. The machine has the capability to deep fry frozen strips of potato, spitting them out as fresh french fries in about two minutes. Sadly, the french-fry vending machine is currently only a prototype, with the single functioning machine on campus at Wageningen University. However, developers say they would love to expand the concept, making french fry vending machines an international reality. HEBBEN. Amazon reimburses you for Dash Buttons after your first purchase

Image
In late July, Amazon quietly made its Dash Buttons available to all Prime members, without any announcement or fanfare. Today, the company finally made its new program official, and added products from 11 new brands in the process, though it's still limited to Prime subscribers only. The new additions bring the total to 29 brands that tally over 500 products -- all of which can be ordered with the push of a button. What's more, Amazon will also reimburse you for the $5 buttons when you use them to make your first purchase. In other words, you can give it a shot and if you end up not liking it (or even if you do), you'll get your money back. In addition to household items like laundry detergent and food, you can now use the buttons to order mints, gum and protein powder, among other things. Engadget Nyourfacetelevision

J. J. Fad On NWA Film: It Would've Taken 2 Secs to Say Our Name

Image
It's J. J. Fad and they're here to vent. "Straight Outta Compton" has been dominating box offices worldwide, and like most criticially acclaimed films, many have found certain faults throughout, like the number of people affiliated with Ruthless Records who weren't mentioned in the biopic. The "Supersonic" trio is one of them, and "it would have taken literally two seconds to say" their name, says J.J. Fad co-founder Juana "MC JB" Sperling. Neither Sperling, Dania "Baby D" Birks, nor Michelle "Sassy C" Franklin were invited to the film's premiere. "They generated a lot of money for our company. People never thought about some of the other stuff we had there, like J.J. Fad and Michel'le, but that was a big part of the Ruthless story," recalls N.W.A.'s former manager, Jerry Heller, during an interview with the LA Times. "Eazy and I loved those girls." J. J. World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Famer Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka has been charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in the 1983 death of his then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino. Lehigh County, PA, prosecutors made the announcement after a grand jury investigation was launched in the death of the 23-year-old woman.  Snuka told investigators that he was attending a taping for the World Wrestling Federation in Allentown, PA, and when he returned to his hotel room he found Argentino choking and oozing yellow fluid from her mouth and nose. The young woman passed away one day later with injuries that investigators say were consistent with being hit with a stationary object.  The former wrestler spoke about the incident in a 2012 autobiography, and he said it ruined his life as he also maintained his innocence. Snuka wrote, "Many terrible things have been written about me hurting Nancy and being responsible for her death, but they are not true. This has been
