Kodak Black has to start paying a hefty amount of child support each month. As reported by Bossip, the Floridian rapper has been ordered to pay the mother of his child, Jammiah Broomfield, $4,200K per month in child support payments. This will put an end to the custody battle the parents were embroiled in over their son, King Khalid. Kodak has agreed to the amount and will be paying it 12 times a year until 2033. By that time, the amount paid out to Broomfield will be over $800,000. Through their settlement, Kodak will have open access to see his child. Sara Lawrence, Broomfield's lawyer, told the website last month that the deal is fair to both parties. “This was not easy to get to, but they love the kid, and he’s a cute little boy,” Lawrence said. Hyman born in North Carolina in 1926, moved to Brooklyn as a child with his family where he developed his acting skills in the theater scene of New York City. He is most known in the hip-hop world for his portrayal of Russell Huxtable, the father of Heathcliffe Huxtable on Bill Cosby's The Cosby Show, where he depicted positive imagery of Black fatherhood, earning himself an Emmy nomination for the role in 1986. Hyman became central to the grandfather role despite being only 11 years older than Bill. He also was a recurring character on the show's spinoff A Different World, for the time that Lisa Bonet (Denise Huxtable) was on the show as the second eldest daughter of the Cosby who was attending Hillman College. A Tennessee mother has been charged with aggravated child abuse after her 10-year-old son allegedly stabbed himself to death following a beating with an extension cord. According to police reports, Robin McKinzie admitted to authorities she whipped her son with an extension cord and choked him as a form of punishment when the child became angry. Mckinzie told police the boy ran into the kitchen and stabbed himself. According to Fox13, Memphis police say first responders found the boy bleeding from his chest at the family's apartment on Saturday, October 28. Police said the boy was unresponsive when emergency crews arrived. He was rushed to a local hospital but was pronounced dead an hour later. Earlier this week (Oct.8), Newark, NJ police made six arrests for prostitution and soliciting. The arrests were made after several complaints came from the following areas: Mulberry Street, Scott Street, Orchard Street and Camp Street. In response to the quality of life complaints made by residents, detectives conducted an investigation which led to the multiple arrests. The individuals who were charged and arrested are Remones McDaniel, 29; Dorell Korngay,19; DeShawn Washington, 26; Zayquan R. Twitty, 20; and Yusef Husdon, 26. Detroit rapper, Doughboy Roc, was fatally shot on the west side of Detroit. Doughboy Roc, of Doughboyz Cashout, was found dead in a white Hyundai near the area Stoepel and Westfield, a block from Livernois. The shooting took place around 3:30pm and he was shot in his right ear and shoulder. Kenneka Jenkins, a young Chicago woman, whose body was found in a hotel's walk-in freezer last month has died accidentally, a coroner ruled. Her cause of death was hypothermia and "cold exposure in a walk-in freezer" as well as "ethanol and topiramate intoxication," the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said. Jenkins, 19, was last seen early Saturday, September 9, at a party at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare Hotel. Her family reported her missing later that day, and Jenkins' body was found in the freezer at the hotel shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday, September 10. Surveillance videos released by police days later show Jenkins, alone, wandering through a kitchen area near the freezer. The medical examiner said an autopsy found stomach lesions indicative of hypothermia, an abrasion on Jenkins' right ankle and a bruise on her right leg.
