Kings' Zach Randolph Arrested for Marijuana Possession with Intent to Sell

According to reports, Sacramento Kings player Zach Randolph was arrested for marijuana possession with the intent to sell in Los Angeles last night. The basketball player was in the Nickerson Gardens area located in Watts and was caught up in a sweep by the police who were called around 10 PM. Police said that there was a large group of people playing loud music, blocking the roadway for others, and smoking.
Because of that, three people allegedly grabbed their waistbands and began to run off upon seeing the police, so the cops pursued them. TMZ noted that those three people were detained and arrested, and one of them included Randolph. The basketball player was arrested for a felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell, because of the large amount he had on him. Zach Randolph was hit with $20,000 bail, which he posted.
The report also noted that after Randolph was arrested, the crowd surrounding the police on the scene began to vandalize police cars by busting the windows out of their cars and slashing their tires. Backup had to be called to the scene to disperse the crowds
