Cult Leader and Murderer Charles Manson Dead at 83

Charles Milles Manson has died at the age of 83 from natural causes. Manson was the head of the Manson Family cult, who were responsible for 7 murders including pregnant actress Sharon Tate in the 1960's. Manson was originally sentenced to death for the murders, but had his sentence commuted to life in prison after California got rid of the death penalty in 1972. He was denied parole 12 times.
Charles Manson felt that there would be a massive race war, which he called "Helter Skelter." The murders that his cult committed were in preparation for this war.
