NBA Commish Meets with NCAA to Discuss Ending "One-and-Done" Rule

The "one-and-done" rule is one of the least favorite rules that implemented by the NBA's former commissioner David Stern. The rule prohibits players to enter the draft directly out of high school - i.e. Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Tracey McGrady, Kevin Garnett, etc - but instead are required to be 19 years of age and one year removed from high school. For many young NBA prospects, this means going to college for one year to fulfill the basic draft requirements. But since the new NBA commissioner has taken charge, the prospects of reforming the rule or getting rid of it all together has become more of a real possibility.
What many people close to the situation are speculating is that Silver and the NBA front office may propose that players can enter the draft directly out of high school but that those who enter college must stay a minimum of two years. In order for this to work the NBA Players Association (NBAPA) must cede to the proposed plan.
What are your thoughts on the "one-and-done" rule, should the league get rid of it?
