A Texas doctor was arrested after he allegedly gunned down a couple who were helping his mother move—all in front of the victims’ three children. According to the San Antonio Express-News, Robert Edward Fadal II, 56, is accused of using a rifle to fatally shoot Tiffany Leann Strait, 30, and Anthony Ray Strait, 27. The married couple was helping Fadal’s mother move furniture at the doctor’s gated home early Sunday morning. According to the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office, the couple was shot around 11:40 a.m., as their three young sons watched the event in horror. Anthony Strait was pronounced dead at the scene. Tiffany Strait was rushed to a nearby hospital, but she later died from her injuries. Authorities are still baffled by what events took place for the shooting to occur. “It was some kind of benevolent action,” said Lt. Craig Jones, a spokesman for the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office. “At this time, there are no indications there was a feud, disturbance, or anything precip

Omar Epps is being sued for assault and battery actress Donzaleigh Abernathy. TMZ reported that the actress was sent to to the hospital after they improvised an action scene during which Omar Epps allegedly struck her so hard he ended up breaking her arm. According to TMZ, the incident occurred while filming a scene in May 2016 for the USA show "Shooter." Epps's character was supposed to murder Abernathy's character in the scene. However, the actor "completely deviated from the script" and "threw his left forearm with full force at [her] right arm," breaking it as a result. Production had to be paused when Abernathy was rushed to the hospital, reports Daily Mail. Abernathy, who was 59 at the time, stated that a younger and stronger Epps was negligent and reckless in his actions during the film shoot. Toward the end of last year, Amazon spent $90 million to purchase Blink. This is a company that makes home security cameras. The reason for the acquisition might have little to do with security or even cameras. According to a report published today, those familiar with Amazon's thinking say that the company bought Blink to gain access to the latter's energy-sipping chips. Blink says that its cameras can run for two years on one pair of  AA lithium batteries. Amazon is said to be looking over Blink's exclusive chips to find out if it can use them to lower production costs and extend the battery life of devices like its Amazon Cloud Cam and possibly the Echo line of smart speakers. Amazon does sell a battery base for certain Echo models that allows the smart speaker to become portable. If Amazon could get its Echo devices to run for two years on a pair of AA batteries, that would open up a whole new market for the product, in addition to giving Amazon a competitive edge over
