JR Smith Says Cavs Are Making Lebron James "Play Hero Ball

The Cleveland Cavaliers fell to 0-2 in the Eastern Conference finals after losing to the Boston Celtics on Tuesday (May 15).
The losses were a shocker for most fans as the Cavs easily took care of the top-seeded Raptors in four games, but the young nucleus of the Celtics is proving to be a challenge for the reigning eastern conference champs.
While being down two games isn’t too alarming considering the Cavs have superstar Lebron James on the court playing amazing, JR Smith believes that the rest of the team has to step it up, so the full weight of the series isn’t on the shoulders of King James.
“We have to ramp it up," Smith told ESPN’s Dave McMenamin Thursday. “We're playing too slow. We're making Bron play hero ball, which is tough to do, especially in the Eastern Conference Finals. We got to help him. With that said, we have to give him an opportunity to make him feel confident to give us the ball so we can make the right plays. We got to help him, and he's got to help us."
In the series, JR Smith has only scored 4 points in 56 combined minutes.
