Man Who Attacked Black McDonald's Employee Arrested

Image
The man in the viral video showing him attempting to violently pull a female McDonald's employee over the counter during a dispute over straws has been arrested on two counts of simple battery. According to witnesses, the dispute began over the man, Daniel Taylor's, inability to find straws by the condiments. The employee told Taylor that straws were prohibited from being placed out near the condiments and that he could only get one after requesting one from an employee behind the counter.  After jawing back-and-forth over the new policy, things turned physical. According to authorities, Taylor continued hurling profanities even after the incident was over and he had been asked to leave. Upon leaving, however, cops say Taylor kicked another employee who was close to the door.  Police arrested Taylor after receiving a call about another incident nearby and recognized him from the video.
