FBI Can Access Laptop Cameras Without People Knowing

According to The Washington Post, the FBI's hunt for a terrorist suspect known as "Mo" has lead them to creating software which allows them to hack into people's computers and even use the devices' webcams to spy on them.  The suspected terrorist, Mo, has sent multiple pictures of himself wearing an Iranian military uniform, and has also sent numerous threats against locations including American universities and airports as his intended targets.  The repeated threats made to the FBI via emails and Internet chat methods prompted the FBI's "network investigative techniques" unit to create software that can access an individual's computer and gain access to personal emails and other files.  It even goes so far as to take control of their webcam and snap pictures or record computer users without their knowledge.  The use of this invasive strategy has been cast aside by courts who argue that it is a direct violation of the Fourth Amendment; however, no one can know if the FBI has used it against them.The suspected terrorist Mo, has yet to be found.Source: hiphopwired.com
