After days on the run following reports that he'd brutally beaten his porn star girlfriend Christy Mack, MMA fighter War Machine has been taken into custody by police and is currently being held without bail.
U.S. Marshalls and Simi Valley police led the Nevada Fugitive Investigative Strike Team in capturing the Vegas native after he fled town when news broke of the alleged assault. War Machine was apprehended at the Extended Stay America Hotel in Simi Valley, CA, a town north of Los Angeles, where he used to live.
Las Vegas police say War Machine viciously attacked Christy Mack and an associate, Corey Thomas, in Mack's home during the early morning hours of August 8th, leaving her with a lacerated liver and more than a dozen broken bones. There is no word yet on when War Machine will go to trail.
