The popular Rush Hour films made famous by Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan are coming to a television screen near you.
According to Deadline, producers Brett Ratner and Bill Lawrence have signed on to do an hour long action-comedy series based on the hit film.
The project was picked up by Warner Bros TV and will have the same premise of the movie with a cop from Hong Kong and a slightly cocky, but goofy partner. Ratner is the film's original director while Lawrence is known for his successful shows likeScrubs and Cougar Town.
The Rush Hour franchise has grossed over $845 million dollars since its debut in 1998.
There has also been talks about a fourth Rush Hour film, but there are no active plans in action at the moment.
