Lil Wayne's Tour Bus Shooter Was Once Young Thug's Road Manager
Yesterday it came to light that Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, the man who shot at Lil Wayne's tour bus, did so in order "to gain street cred" and higher gang status. Now TMZ is reporting that Winfrey was once the road manager for none other than Young Thug, and a photo has even surfaced of the two partying together.
Following the shooting which happened back in April, last Thursday (May 21) the Atlanta Police Department secured an arrest warrant for Winfrey, who has been charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, criminal gang activity, terroristic threats, and aggravated assault.
Since the arrest, several Atlanta sources have confirmed to TMZ that Jimmy Carlton Winfrey has worked as Young Thug's road manager in the past, which becomes extremely poignant taken in light of the fact that Young Thug and Lil Wayne have been embroiled in a public feud stemming from Thugga wanting to release a mixtape entitled ''Tha Carter 6,' and he just recently revealed his next project may be called 'Carter 5.'
