T-Mobile Microsoft Lumia 435 priced at just $50 at Walmart off-contract
If you're a T-Mobile subscriber looking for a cheap Windows handset, Walmart might have exactly what you're looking for. The entry-level Microsoft Lumia 435 is now available for just $49.88, down from its usual retail price of $95.
That money will get you a brand new Microsoft Lumia 435 that only works on T-Mobile, but you don't need to sign a contract to take advantage of the offer.
The Lumia 435 is an entry-level handset that features specs such as a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480 by 800 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of integrated storage space, and a microSD card slot that accepts cards of up to 128GB. In the camera department, the Lumia 435 comes with a 2MP primary camera and a VGA secondary shooter on the front. All of these components are powered by a 1560mAh removable battery.
While camera performance is certainly not something to write home about, the Lumia 435 will get the job done if you're not looking beyond basic tasks. The handset doesn't come with a 4G LTE modem, but it is compatible with T-Mobile's HSPA+ network.
The Microsoft Lumia 435 currently runs Windows Phone 8.1, but the handset is set to receive Windows 10 Mobile when the new operating system launches later this year.
What do you guys think of this offer? Is the Lumia 435 underpowered by your current standards?
