Empire’s Taraji P. Henson made the big announcement on Friday after a fan asked about the show’s return on twitter. The second season of the Fox 5 hit show will premiere on Wednesday September 23rd. The Empire cast has had their hands full since the finale of the first season this past spring with performances , sweeping the Emmy’s and holding it down at plenty other events. The first season featuring big name artists such as Jennifer Hudson and Courtney Love, we can expect even more acts to partake in this second season of the super successful Television series. Artists and entertainers such as Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys and Chris Rock are slated to appear next season for the Fox 5 Smash.
