Back in May and then again in June rapper Rich Homie Quan experienced severe criticism over his rape lyrics. Today (June 15), the "Flex" rapper expressed that artistic immaturity and lack of guidance led him to recite the alarming bars, according to Billboard.
He told the publication, "I do not condone or promote rape. I'm not a rapist. That song was recorded in December 2012. I was young and just rapping. At the time, I had no guidance in my life. I blame it on that. So I apologize once more to my fans."
