A Pittsburgh woman is facing felony drug charges after being found in possession of 2,000 bags of heroin during a traffic stop in Mount Pleasant, PA., on Friday.
Troopers stopped Candice A. Alexander, 28, on the Pennsylvania Turnpike after she swerved on the highway and caused a truck driver to slam on his brakes. After Alexander consented to a search of her vehicle, police discovered 2,000 bricks of heroin in a hidden compartment underneath her back seat. That amount has a street value of $1 million, according to local news outlet TribLive.
