Lonzo Ball Confirms That He Is Headed for The NBA

College basketball freshman phenom Lonzo Ball declared for the NBA Draft following his UCLA Bruins elimination from the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA tournament on Friday, March 24.

"That was my final game for UCLA, and I appreciate all the fans and all the support," Ball said after the Bruins' 86-75 loss to Kentucky. While his 10 point, 8 assists performance couldn't have done much to wow the professionals checking out the future prospect, especially considering he was outplayed by De'Aaron Fox, who scored 39, the attention was all Ball's as it has been for much of the NCAA season.

The 6'5" guard was widely speculated to have a one and done campaign with the university, with father LaVar Ball talking his son up at the heights of sports media attention. He completes his NCAA career having averaged 14.7 points and 7.6 assists per game.
