Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg posed the question following Remy's memorable slot at Summer Jam over the weekend. It was a set she closed by delivering yet another thorough performance of "Shether," which helped reinvigorate a beef that some feel she's harping on.
"What happens is when I say something it's like 'Oh, Rem is going on and on and on and on about it.' But yet and still shorty could come out with every feature that she's come out with for the past 3 months throwing shots at me. Little ol' me who don't matter, who she's unbothered by, whatever," Remy offered, to clear her name. "I could leave it alone. I don't have a problem with that. But I could also go in every day too."
More important than going tit for tat with her rival though, is her aim to stand up to the industry titan on behalf of all of their pioneers and peers who don't typically get love from the newest hottest artists. To Remy the onus is on her, not to bring Nicki down per-se, as much as it is to check her arrogance, even if it means cutting her down to size.
"More importantly what people need to understand, it's not just one person. It's not just two people. It's a whole slew of us, everybody's a queen," she said.
