Twelve people were wounded just before the work day kicked off in Orlando, Florida on Monday, June, 5 when a disgruntled former employee walked into his old workplace and began letting off gunshots.
The shooting is reported to have taken place just after 8 a.m. in Orange County. Officers were called to respond to an ambush at Fiamma Inc., within the vicinity of Full Sail University, just off of Forsyth Road. They'd arrive shortly to find four victims, including three men and one woman, dead at the scene. While a fifth individual would later die at a local hospital, seven people in the Fiamma offices at the time lived to tell of the terrifying ordeal.
The man responsible for the shooting was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. While his name has not been released to the media, he has been identified as a 45-year-old man who on at least one occasion [June 2014] was approached by police at the job for getting physical with a colleague. Thus far investigators are attributing a motive to the likelihood that he remained upset over his firing from the company, which happened this past April.
