Waitress Drops Cocaine in a Police Officer's Drink

A waitress in a Tennessee restaurant was recently arrested after she mistakenly dropped a bag of cocaine in the water of an off-duty law enforcement agent she was serving.
Officers arrived at the Steak & Shake at 5118 Hixson Pike in Chattanooga at around 11 p.m. last Thursday, May 25, in response to a call reporting an assault at the establishment. The call was phoned in by Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy Rick Wolfe, who recovered the bag from his drink after waitress Jekievea Monchell Yearby walked away from his table. Yearby would be placed and handcuffs and taken away after officers got the manager to let them review surveillance footage of the incident.
Yearby would reportedly admit that the narcotic must've fallen from inside of her order book. She'd also disclose that she was carrying an additional bag in her bra. All together authorities reportedly confiscated 0.7 grams of coke and a black straw. She is being charged with assault, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her initial court hearing is set for June 15.
