Milwaukee Bucks Ready to Trade for Kyrie Irving if Celtics Deal Falls Apart
2017 has been a chaotic NBA off-season, with the major free-agent acquisitions and blockbuster trades. Headlining it all was Kyrie Irving being shipped to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, two additional players, and a draft pick. Kyrie was packed and ready to leave Cleveland, but just when it seemed the deal was finalized, questions about Thomas' health sidetracked the trade.
Looking to capitalize, the Milwaukee Bucks have put forth a trade including reigning rookie of the year Malcolm Brogdon and forward Khris Middleton and could potentially include future first round draft picks as well. The offer put forth by the Bucks is not nearly as good as the Celtics' offer, but it may serve as the next best option. Stay tuned for updates.
