LeBron, Lue Reportedly 'Cooled' on Thomas Trade Following Physical

With the trade between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics now finalized, reports have surfaced that Isaiah Thomas' physical has 'cooled' the excitement of LeBron and Coach Tyronn Lue. The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor reported a league source as saying, "as news spread throughout the organization that Thomas could miss time deep into the upcoming season, James and Lue cooled on the deal." However, Cavs upper management has reiterated to both LeBron and Lue that the move to acquire Thomas and Crowder was made to "help the team compete with the Warriors now."
With the updated trade package, the Cavs received Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, a first-round pick in the 2018 draft and a second-round pick in 2020 draft.
