Tom Brady Becomes All Time NFL Wins Leader

The 2017 New York Jets continued to surprise fans when after registering the first two scores of their matchup against the New England Patriots, they found themselves leading by a score of 14-0 heading into the midway mark. This was the team that was left for dead and had many football analysts predicting they'd be the punching bag of the AFC, weeks before they marched into MetLife Stadium tied for first place in the division on Sunday, October 15. But lest they had forgotten, they were playing a winner in Tom Brady, who happened to be going for the all-time regular season wins record, at that.
A reality check was in store. Within minutes Brady led a series of drives that tied them up at the half, and then he put the defending champs ahead with a shot downfield to Rob Gronkowski in the 3rd Quarter. The Patriots would never look back, and neither would Brady, who was headed into the history books as the game's winningest quarterback, on 20 completions, 257 yards and two touchdowns to one interception.
Being the winner that he is, Brady avoided commenting on what a personal accomplishment 187 wins is, and neither did he celebrate how the 24-17 victory positioned New England back atop the division. Instead, he spoke on the ways to go his squad has before they are back in Super Bowl form, stating, “I wish we would’ve done better. But we won, so… probably a lot to learn from it."
