Brett Ratner Axed from Wonder Woman Sequel, Gal Gadot Confirms

Wonder Woman’ star Gal Gadot received much praise for her role as the iconic comic book character. The praise for the movie found her gearing up for the sequel, which was produced by Brett Ratner. However, Gadot made it clear that she would not be back for the sequel if Ratner was on-board. The news came after Ratner was accused of sexual misconduct by several women.
Since then, it seemed to be a toss-up in terms of if Ratner would still be involved with the sequel. Now, Gadot has confirmed Ratner’s removal from the project. While on the “Today Show,” Gadot was asked about the ultimatum she made in reference to Ratner. Gadot responded: “Everyone knew what was the right thing to do.. a lot has been written about my views and the way that I feel, and everyone knows the way that I feel because I’m not hiding anything.”
She went on to say “But the truth is, there’s so many people involved in making this movie, it’s not just me, and they all echoed the same sentiments. You know what I mean?”
Since being kicked off the project, Ratner has spoken through his lawyer, denying all the sexual harassment and sexual misconduct allegations against him.
