Burger King Employee Threatens Manager With Gun, Demanding More Hours
Today’s dose of stupidity comes from a disgruntled Burger King employee in Las Vegas who threatened his manager with a gun because his hours had been cut recently.
The fast food boss called 911 Tuesday night after the 30-year-old employee stormed the restaurant and confronted him, KVVU-TV reported, citing police.
The man pressed for more hours after being reduced to just 30 hours per week, the report states. He told the manager he did not want to “shoot the place up.”
Ten people, including four customers, managed to escape out of the back door. Police rushed in and nabbed the worker, who was not immediately identified.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers found semi-automatic rifle parts and a machete in the suspect’s bag inside the restaurant. In his pocket, police found 15 bullets, the TV station reported.
