Georgia Mother Crashes SUV To Show Her Kids God Is Real
Bakari Warren used an almost fatal car accident to teach her kids a lesson.
The 25-year-old mother was driving with her two children on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. What was expected of the young ones to be a normal drive, Warren had different plans. Bakari switched from her northbound direction to go southbound in the opposite lane and purposely collided the SUV into a concrete pole before warning her kids to "buckle up."
Police who interviewed the 5-year-old and 7-year-old reported they knew she crashed the car on purpose because when she turned to them "her eyes was closed and she was saying 'blah, blah, blah, I love God.'" Apparently the lesson to be learned was that God is real and no matter happens, He will protect them from the crash.
Norcross police Sgt. Eric Butynshki explained while Warren was locked in handcuffs in the back of a police car, she directed authorities to look at her Facebook page for more clarity on the reasoning of her reckless actions. However, nothing of substance was found.
The mother is currently being charged with two counts of child cruelty and being held on a $22,000 bond. Luckily, the unharmed children are staying with grandparents
