Donald Glover Reportedly in Talks for Role in 'Black Panther' Sequel

Donald Glover has become one of the biggest stars on the planet in the last two years. Glover, who goes by Childish Gambino when he raps, is a multi-talented entertainer who graduated from the prestigious Tisch School at NYU. Soon after he began writing on 30 Rock, and also crafted stand up comedy specials. At the same time, Glover started building his music catalog with mixtapes like Culdesac and Royalty. Although Glover's music, acting, and writing careers have been gaining more and more notoriety over the years, it wasn't until "3005" came out that the talented entertainer began to receive commercial praise and widespread acclaim. Then when "Redbone" and Atlanta dropped in 2016, Glover finally had the world in his palms.

Black Panther is one of Marvel's most successful movies, so when the studio announced that there would be a sequel, nobody was surprised. Director Ryan Coogler created a masterpiece with his vision, and now it's being reported that he's begun piecing together Black Panther 2. According to Metro UK, Coogler is in talks with Glover to join the cast of the sequel. The talks are said to be "informal," but Glover, who is already tied to Disney through his recent role in Solo: A Star Wars Story, would most likely play a villain.
