Kevin Love Listed As Questionable for Game 7 After Suffering Concussion

If the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to make it to the 2017-18 NBA Finals, they may have to get past the Boston Celtics in the final game of their Eastern Conference Championship series without the help of Kevin Love.

In what may prove to be a blow to Tyronn Lue and the gang, Love was forced to exit Friday night's (May 25) game at Quicken Loans Arena after getting banged up in a collision with Jayson Tatum early on in the contest.

Blinded to their proximity to one another while the Cavs were on the defensive end of the ball with 6:58 left in the first quarter, Love and Tatum bumped heads to send each man into a daze. But Love got the worst of it, prompting him to be walked off of the court indefinitely.

The symptoms displayed by Love during his evaluation reportedly didn't warrant immediate submission to the league's concussion protocol, but it was confirmed that he would undergo further testing leading up to Sunday's match-up, thus leaving his playing status up in the air. Love was quoted as projecting that the probability of him suiting up to compete, at this point, remains a "toss-up."

Should he fail to take the floor, Love's role will in large part be handed over to Larry Nance Jr., with Lebron James sharing the bulk down low on defense.
