Charlamagne Rape Accuser Taking Case to SC Supreme Court, Seeks DNA Result
Previously, it was revealed Charlamagne’s rape case will stay closed because the victim reportedly did not cooperate. Now, a report surfaced saying the woman who accused the personality of raping her when she was 15-years-old will be pushing to get her case heard by the South Carolina Supreme Court.
According to The Blast, the woman, Jessica Reid, sent a letter to the deputy for the Supreme Court Office of Disciplinary Counsel in South Carolina. In the letter, the woman revealed that she did not cooperate during the investigation because she was "traumatized." Along with that, she said it was the “prosecutor’s responsibility” to defend her properly.
Reid continued on saying there wasn’t an “investigation done to bring justice” and that the radio show host “continues to violate [her] on the radio, in his book, and on social media.”
Furthermore, Jessica Reid claims that she was never provided with the results of Charlamagne's DNA test.
