Eddie Murphy Will Star in 'Beverly Hills Cop 4' for Netflix

Eddie Murphy will star in the fourth installment of his famed Beverly Hills Cop films, which will appear on Netflix. This comes after Murphy starred in the highly acclaimed Dolemite Is My Name film for the streaming giant. Jerry Bruckheimer will return to produce the upcoming film, with Netflix securing the rights to a potential second film.

The first Beverly Hills Cop film dropped in 1984, starring Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, a police officer from Detroit investigating his friend's murder in Beverly Hills. A sequel followed in 1987, and the third installment was released in 1994.
