The news surrounding Donald Trump and health status after it was revealed he tested positive for COVID-19 has been up in the air. Since being released from the hospital, Trump pushed to be in public despite having the virus. Trump’s antics after testing positive have had many wondering if he actually had coronavirus at all. Now, reports surfaced, noting Trump wanted to rip his dress shirt off to reveal a ‘Superman’ t-shirt as he walked out of Walter Reed Medical Center.
The New York Times said Trump reported weighed options of acting sick and frail upon leaving the hospital or pull the Superman t-shirt stunt to show strength. However, he decided against the latter.
News of this comes after he said that he is “immune” to COVID-19, saying his immunity is giving him a “protective glow.” Trump said, “It seems like I'm immune, so I can go way out of a basement which I would have done anyway. You have to run a country, you have to get out of the basement. It looks like I'm immune, maybe for a long time, maybe a short time, it could be a lifetime, but nobody really knows."
