Two Milwaukee women were arrested and accused of drugging and robbing various men in the Chicago-area in recent months, with prosecutors alleging that the women stole over $85,000 in cash and other property from the men.
Tiana Trammell, 25, and Tjwana Rainey, 32, were arrested on Sunday (October 18) during an undercover CPD and U.S. Marshals operation that saw the women carrying an unconscious nightclub employee from a bar to Trammell's car. The two women proceeded to rob the man of his valuables before Chicago police and deputy marshals arrested them on the scene. It was revealed that police found "many small vials of alcohol opened and filled to the top," which are currently being tested. A gun was also found in Trammell's car, but Assistant State’s Attorney Paul Kiefer revealed she is a licensed concealed carry holder.
Judge Charles Beach stated that he viewed the alleged crimes as "an act of violence," and he ordered Rainey held in lieu of $45,000 bail. After it was revealed that Trammell had a warrant out for her arrest in Tennessee, Judge Beach set her bail at $55,000 and ordered her not to travel to Wisconsin.
One of the women's previous victims spoke out, telling CWB Chicago, "It happened at the end of June 2019. A friend and I were at [a Gold Coast bar] around midnight. We had some drinks, then don’t remember leaving at all. Both of our phones were missing, cash was gone from wallets. My laptop was there, but they had changed our iCloud passwords as well as passwords for credit cards. Once we got those reset, I realized they had gone to 3 different Walmarts and 3 different Target stores around Milwaukee, charging thousands of dollars at each."
