Kobe Bryant Ranks 6th on Forbes' 2020 List of Highest-Paid Dead Celebrities

Kobe Bryant's estate has made $20 million since his passing, according to Forbes. The NBA legend, who suffered a helicopter crash on January 26, ranked sixth on Forbes' "Highest-Paid Dead Celebrities of 2020" list.

Kobe's autobiography, The Mamba Mentality: How I Play, sold ten times the copies it did in 2019 with 300,000 copies in 2020. In addition, his Laker jersey was only behind LeBron James' in terms of sales for the NBA franchise.

Celebrities who ranked higher than Kobe Bryant included Michael Jackson ($48 million), Dr. Suess ($33 million), Peanuts creator Charles Schulz ($32.5 million), Arnold Palmer ($25 million), and Elvis Presley ($23 million).

In addition to Kobe, Juice WRLD was another new entry on the list. The late rapper, who passed away late last year, brought in $15 million.
