Chico DeBarge Arrested for Drugs, Told Cops He Was His Brother

In 2019, Chico DeBarge made headlines after being reportedly arrested for drug possession, as he was busted with meth. Now, DeBarge is in the news again, after being arrested for drug possession along with false impersonation.

According to the Burbank Police Department, DeBarge was pulled over by the cops on January 13 for driving without his headlights on. Along with that, the cops say DeBarge didn’t have license plates on the vehicle. DeBarge reportedly didn’t have any ID, but when asked who he was, he told the cops his name is James, his older brother who was in the group DeBarge as well.

The cops noted that Chico DeBarge had two women passengers, and while searching the singer, they found heroin and methamphetamines on him. As a result, he was arrested, and police were able to get his true identity. Chico DeBarge was charged with a DUI, drug possession, and a false impersonation charge. Stay tuned for more updates.

Denzel Washington launches campaign to play James Bond

He’s played a mafia don in  American Gangster  and a dodgy police detective in Training Day  but now Denzel Washington wants to be one of the good guys. The Oscar-winning actor told Reddit users during an  Ask Me Anything session yesterday that he wanted to take on the  role of 007 . “The next James Bond? They better hurry up! Yes I would! Who's doing James Bond now..Daniel Craig! Did they shoot another one?” He even went so far as to launch a social media campaign, saying, “Everybody should tweet Denzel is James Bond!
