Kanye West Reportedly Unfollows Nicki Minaj on Instagram Following "Clown" Comments

Previously, Nicki Minaj made an appearance at the Essence Festival and performed a variety of her hit songs. The performance found Minaj bringing out acts like Birdman and Lil Wayne, and she ran through songs like “Beez In The Trap,” “Did It On Em,” and more. When she got “Monster,” a Kanye West hit where she was featured, Minaj seemingly had the song cut off and said, “Hold up, I’m ‘monster’d’ out, and we don’t f**k with clowns.” 

Since then, it appears the comments have made their way to West, who has unfollowed the Queens artist on Instagram. It was speculated that Minaj’s comments stem from an appearance West made on “Hot S**t” with Cardi B, who Minaj had issues with in the past.
