Master P Tells Rappers Not to Be Afraid to 'Hire' Police for Security After Takeoff's Death

As the hip-hop world still grapples with Takeoff's senseless murder, some of the elder statesmen of the culture are speaking up to help rappers redirect how they move in an increasingly hostile environment for them, in particular.

Master P issued a statement via Instagram on Tuesday where he sent out his condolences to the family and close friends of Takeoff but made an interesting plea with rappers within his larger message. For Master P, there isn't any shame in working with police if it means that it will ensure the rapper's safety.

The No Limit Records founder said that living long requires one to switch up how they move and this generation should begin moving according to the hostility they face in the world as opposed to presenting a street image that only breeds further danger.
