Drake's Dad Says Drake Isn't Dissing Kanye with Kim K Sample in New Song

Drake debuted a new song called "Rescue Me" on Sound 42’s Fry Yiy Show over the weekend, which featured a sample from Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where Kim is speaking about her divorce from Kanye. In the sample, Kim can be heard saying, "I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that."

Many people took the song as a diss to Kanye, despite seemingly ending the beef at the Larry Hoover benefit concert in 2021. However, Drake's dad, Dennis Graham, denies that it was a diss at Ye, as he commented on TMZ'z Instagram post, writing, "“Drake is not trolling anyone, it’s a song. Why try and create a Kanye and Drake beef again?"

This comes after fans speculated that Drake also took shots at Kanye on Her Loss, including on "Circo Loco," where he raps, "Linking with the opps, b*tch, I did that sh*t for J. Prince/B*tch, I did it for the mob ties."

Kanye responded to the speculation at the time, writing on Twitter, "Enough already I done gave this man his flowers multiple times[.] Let’s really see who are real ops are in this music game. Imagine all the rappers on the same side and everyone cleaning up each others contracts It’s kingdom time[.] Love Drake #lovespeech
