Young Thug’s week just got even heavier as another round of alleged audio leaks has surfaced online, piling onto the already intense scrutiny surrounding him. The audio reportedly captures conversations between Thugger and 21 Savage that touch on two of the most heated topics in the YSL saga: Gunna’s standing in the rap world and Unfoonk’s plea deal. In one alleged call, 21 Savage can be heard suggesting that rappers dissing Gunna are mostly chasing clout. The two supposedly zero in on Lil Baby, who unfollowed Gunna on social media last year after their chart-topping run with "Drip Too Hard." 21 Savage argues that Lil Baby jumped the gun by moving against Wunna, while Thug allegedly doubled down by saying an unfollow is “lil’ boy s***.” He also emphasized that he’s never dissed Gunna, though he did claim Lil Durk has openly done so.  

Verizon customers across the U.S. Saturday reported issues with the network on their cellphones, with some saying that their devices have been limited to SOS mode for several hours. In a statement to CBS News, Verizon said it was aware of a "software issue impacting wireless service for some customers." "Our engineers are engaged and we are working quickly to identify and solve the issue," the statement read. "Please visit our Check Network Status page for updates on service in your area. Forty years after its release,  Back to the Future ‘s pop-culture presence is as strong as ever thanks to  theme parks , the tie-in  musical , a  missing-guitar mystery , and simply the enduring love for the movie itself. Starting October 31, fans can revisit the Robert Zemeckis-directed, Steven Spielberg-produced time-travel classic on the big screen. And we do mean  big : this re-release is targeting premium, large-scale formats, including Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and D-Box—as well as IMAX. According to a Universal press release, “This marks the first time  Back to the Future  will be presented on the world’s largest screens, offering fans the opportunity to experience the film’s scope and spectacle in the most immersive formats yet.” It’s an occasion so monumental, the studio released a special 40th anniversary trailer 

  Mortal Kombat  II  was not yet finished with selecting its ideal release date. Warner Bros.  is now set to release director Simon McQuoid’s sequel movie in theaters May 15, 2026, after it was previously slated for release in two months on Oct. 24. The film will now be part of the launch of next year’s summer season and avoids the crowded landscape of this October. Earlier this year, Sony’s  Final Destination: Bloodlines   found success  in a similar May slot. Despite the fact the  Nintendo Switch 2’s  design hasn’t changed from its  8-year-old prequel , it’s still the epitome of gaming thanks to the dock that connects it to your TV. Sony’s PlayStation brand seems to be hedging on the same bet Nintendo made nearly a decade ago. The latest rumors and leaks suggest Sony’s rumored PlayStation 6 handheld could also dock with a TV and offer even better performance than both the Switch 2 and the upcoming  Asus ROG Xbox Ally handheld .  A film project centered around  NBA  superstar  Kobe Bryant ‘s journey to the  Los Angeles Lakers  has landed at  Warner Bros. ,  The Hollywood Reporter  has confirmed. Alex Sohn and Gavin Johannsen penned the spec screenplay for  With the 8th Pick , which follows the high-stakes process that led to Bryant getting drafted into the NBA in 1996. The project was generating high interest from other studios and streamers before Warners stepped in preemptively to nab it. A director has not yet been attached. With the 8th Pick  is said to focus on the New Jersey Nets and then-general manager John Nash, who held the eighth pick in the draft and considered taking Bryant out of high school. The  Stranger Things  actress, 21, and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, 23, announced via an  Instagram post  that they adopted a baby girl. “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” Brown wrote on Instagram. She concluded the post with, “And then there were 3.” Brown, who will star in  the final season of  Stranger Things   when it drops on Netflix beginning Nov. 26, married Bongiovi — son of singer Jon Bon Jovi — in May 2024 in a private ceremony before having a bigger reception in Italy months later. Dallas rapper BigXthaPlug, known for his hits "Texas" and "The Largest," was arrested Wednesday in Arlington on a  marijuana  charge, according to  Arlington police and jail records. BigXthaPlug, whose real name is Xavier Landum, was booked into jail on a  marijuana possession charge of less than two ounces , according to officials. The passenger in his car at the time of his arrest, 22-year-old Cleodist Landum, was arrested on an active felony warrant, a marijuana possession charge and a weapons charge, the release said.

 Dr. Seuss'  The Cat in the Hat   is making a cinematic return in 2026 with a fully animated reboot, over 20 years after the 2003 Mike Myers live-action version hit screens, but not as soon as expected.  The Cat in the Hat  marks the first release under the newly rebranded Warner Bros. TikTok  influencer Malik Taylor has passed away. He was 28 years old. At this time, his cause of death is unclear. His business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, confirmed the news in  a statement posted to Facebook . "It is with heavy hearts that we share our beloved Brother, Malik Taylor, has gone to 'Audit Eternal,'" the announcement said. "To know him was to know he was a light to everyone — always bringing laughter, joy and a warm smile that brightened every room he entered."
