The Thing" Actor T.K. Carter Passed Away At The Age Of 69 , RIP

Veteran actor T.K. Carter, best known for his role as Nauls in John Carpenter’s 1982 horror-sci-fi classic The Thing, has died at the age of 69. He was found at his home in Duarte, California, on Friday, January 9, with authorities saying no foul play is suspected, though an official cause of death has not yet been released. Carter’s career spanned nearly five decades and included memorable roles not only in The Thing but also in films like Space Jam and Runaway Train, as well as numerous television appearances.  

Beyond his iconic horror role, Carter was a familiar face on TV throughout the ’80s and ’90s, playing characters such as Mike Fulton on Punky Brewster and T-Bone on The Steve Harvey Show, and earning acclaim for performances in projects like the HBO miniseries The Corner. He continued acting into the 2020s with appearances on shows including Dave and The Company You Keep, leaving behind a diverse and beloved body of work that fans and colleagues are now celebrating following his passing
