Cash App Mobile launches today. Unlimited 5G for $40/monthNo contracts, credit checks or store visits

Cash App has launched a pilot of Cash App Mobile, an unlimited 5G phone plan priced at $40 monthly including taxes and fees. The service runs on AT&T's network and is powered by Gigs, targeting Cash App's user base of young adults, underbanked consumers and gig workers.

The plan requires no long-term contracts, credit checks or store visits. It includes unlimited 5G data, talk and text, unlimited HD streaming, 10GB monthly hotspot, and data roaming in Canada and Mexico. According to a 2026 Cash App survey, 46% of US respondents experienced friction paying recurring phone bills.

Cash App Mobile integrates with the platform's existing financial tools, allowing users to manage mobile service and finances in one application. The service is currently available to select users, with broader rollout planned for coming months.
