Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and NFL on CBS announcer Tony Romo has been arrested in Milwaukee

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and NFL on CBS announcer Tony Romo has been arrested in Milwaukee on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Romo was stopped while driving across a bridge, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.

Romo was taken into custody after performing poorly on standardized field sobriety tests, according to Romo's arrest detention report obtained by FOX6 News.

Romo was booked and released. He is due in court on Sept. 21.
