- They want to cut out the middle man, to make more profit per sale (like remove walmart cuts etc) - Sony thinks the fanbase will not switch platforms, they can do what they please without losing fans - They are convinced by ignoring this issue, they fans will just accept the changes and convert to 100% digital with time. - Sony thinks they are "too big to have commination with fans". Talking to fans has no margin benefit, so they refuse to address fans and will keep doing so I have lost all trust and goodwill with PlayStation, no words what is happening right now.
