For the first time in over two decades, LeBron James is not on an All-NBA team after playing just 60 games this season and missing the NBA’s 65-game eligibility requirement for NBA awards
An iconic streak from Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was officially snapped on Sunday.
The All-NBA teams were announced, and James wasn't included on the list for the first time in 21 seasons, as he did not meet the 65-game threshold to be eligible for postseason awards.
James, who missed the first few weeks of the year due to sciatica in his right side, played 60 games this season.
While he didn't make an All-NBA team, James is still contributing at a high level. He put up 20.9 points, 7.2 assists and 6.1 rebounds per game despite being 41 years old and in his 23rd season. He was also the Lakers' No. 1 option in the playoffs with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves sidelined.
