Vince Carter Signs 1 Year, $8 Million Deal with the Sacramento Kings

Vince Carter will be returning for his 20th season in the NBA. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the 40-year-old swingman has agreed to a 1-year deal worth $8 million with the Sacramento Kings.
Carter, who spent his last three years in Memphis, averaged 8.0 points, and 3.1 rebounds per game last season. He joins a Kings squad who added veterans Zach Randolph and George Hill.
While his minutes and production have been scaled back in his later years, Carter continues to break milestones. Last year, he passed Ray Allen for 22nd on the NBA all-time scoring list and became the first 40-year-old in NBA history to hit six three-pointers in a game.
